This Mutant Mutt later left the X-Kennel ( Pupfessor Rex's Dog School for the Gifted )  and became a Doctor, and then went all Blue and Hairy, joined The Avenging Hounds , and the Dog - Fenders, but never strayed away too long  from his Home and the X-Mutts
