IT'S A DAWGS LIFE: Yesterdays Heroes Once More.... Part Ninety One ........ It is time to Activate the Device.

The Doctor had pressed down the button to activate the device with his foot. This had caused a loud click He then removed his foot and stepped back. At first nothing happened, but as he stepped forward to press the button again.... The lights on what had been the Walkie Talkie started to flash.

" Well its working " the Doctor announced.

The Doctor stepped back again and watched on. Then a pale blue - white light slowly raced up the flex towards the right side of Reggie's head.

Once it had reached his head, Reggie's Cybernetic Brain instructed his body to transfer all available energy up into itself via the Primary and Secondary Power Cores. The Doctor had told Reggie he needed to retain at least 5% of his Power supplies to enable him to still function.

The Right side of Reggie's Brain started to glow, it had started to accept the power as the Doctor had planned, then the Left side also started to glow as Reggie prepared to transfer the energy out of himself into the Time Scoop.

Then Reggie gave the next command and the energy was released along the cable on the left side of his head. Unlike what had happen on the right side, the Bright Golden energy raced down the left cable towards the Time Scoop. " Slowly, Slower " The Doctor shouted to Reggie

" I am trying " Yelped Reggie. Reggie had been warned that discharging the energy too fast could cause the Time Scoop to malfunction even causing it to send the energy pulse back into Reggie. This would for certain fry his circuits.

The Doctor looked on unable to help any more, this was now down to Reggie to make a connection to the Time Scoop.

" I've made contact, I am in control of the device. I am sending the instructions now ! " Shouted Reggie excitedly.

The Doctor looked at the Time Scoop. It was glowing brighter and brighter, as was Reggie. He could see what he believed was Time Lord Regenerative Energy now starting to leach out. He had no idea what that energy would do to him, so he stepped behind the Wall of Multi Men. They all raised their shields to provide what protection they could. One of the Duplicates handed the Doctor his shield.

Only the Multi Men Duplicates standing in front of Reggie could now see what was happening, as Fluid Man, The Original Multi Man and the Doctor had now been completely cocooned by the Multi duplicates.

" Keep me informed of what is happening Reggie, as I cannot see " The Doctor called out.

" Doctor, some of the energy is leaking on to Jack's Katana " Reggie shouted back

" That's fine, that is what I thought would happen, but do try to slow down the release of energy " The Doctor replied.

"Doctor, Timeatron's Box is now glowing!" Reggie informed everyone.

The Doctor realised that the energy release was happening too fast..... but he was powerless to help.

Multi Man feeling that the room was starting to heat up crawled out of the Cocoon of his duplicates . He whipped up two more rows of his Duplicates to help provide more protection to every one. The energy release was now lighting up the whole room. Before diving back in the Cocoon he glimpsed a look at Reggie. The glow was so bright but peeping through his fingers he saw that now Reggie was now glowing too.

"Reggie's glowing now!" Shouted Multi Man

Then there was a blinding flash of light and a noise that sounded like thunder, then a blast of heat followed by extreme cold and then the room went dark.
