YESTERDAYS HEROES ONCE MORE Part Eighty Six...... Time for Timeatron to Make His Move.

 Last time we learnt that The Red Eyed Monk was also a Time Lord     who called himself, Timeatron. Not only did he originate from The Doctors own universe, he claimed to have met The Doctor before.  The Doctor himself knew he had never before met or heard  of Timeatron.  Timeatron then explained that a future version of The Doctor was to blamed for trapping him on Earth in pre historic times. Then Doctor accepted the fact that their paths had crossed. 

As his Time Capsule had been damaged  when it had crash landed over 200 Million Years in Earths past, Timeatron had to use a Stasis Machine to help him sleep through most of the Years. This allowed his Ship to hopefully repair itself. Which it in part did, thus allowing Timeatron a slim chance to travel forward through time.

The story was complex, and there were parts that  The Doctor was skeptical of, but he listened with interest.

However, when Timeatron had finished his story he told The Doctor that he planed to abandon trying to fix his Time Capsule as he intended to take The Doctor's Tardis......

The Story continues.....

Timeatron had now moved forward away from the Control Console and walked past The Doctor and Reggie and stood behind them. He was now blocking the exit to his Time Capsule, and their only escape route. The Doctor took Reggie by the Collar and backed up against the Control Console, hoping that he could use it in some way to escape. 

Timeatron had a rare ability to hypnotize anyone to be completely under his power. This is where he was always described as having Red Eyes in the records that had been unearth back in the Tardis.  This Power he had used many times, especially on the People he had brought forward in time to help him via the Time Scoop.  The Doctor had already warned Timeatron that this Hypnotic influence would not work on him, but this did not stop Timeatron from trying.  Or did it ?

Timeatron kept staring in the Direction of The Doctor. Whilst he was doing this he started to rant on about getting his revenge on The Doctor, by trapping him here on this alternate Earth whilst he would steal the Doctor's Tardis and return to his Universe where he would take revenge on the Time Lords themselves. As it was they who had engaged the Future Doctor capture him in the first place.

Timeatron's eyes wide open looked towards the Doctor.....

They started to glow Red

" It's no good, see I am immune to your power " laughed The Doctor, he looked over and patted Reggie.

" I expected you to be immune, most Time Lords are. Only the weak willed ones it works on. Not like here, I can control every one on this planet, and every living thing too.  I even once controlled a Dinosaur I relocated from the past, to help create a diversion whilst I went about my work " Replied Timeatron smiling. 

" I knew it would not work on you, as I tried it with no success on your Future Self.  Whilst Doctor you thought I was trying my power on you, in fact I was directing my attention to your little four legged FRIEND ! Yes Doctor I can control anything on this planet that lives, that includes your little Doggie  here "  Timeatron then shrieked like a mad person.

" Leave him alone, he is just a Dog..... Just a DOG.  Do not hurt him in any way " Shouted The Doctor.

" No I will not hurt him Doctor, and he will not hurt me either.....  Nothing can hurt me for long remember " said Timeatron who then paused.

The Doctor looked worried  and was fondling around nervously in his jacket pocket.  

He then continued " But I would not be correct in saying he would not hurt YOU ! " cackled Timeatron 

The Doctor looked over at Reggie, he appeared to under Timeatrons influence. He had started to snarl and was baring his teeth.

" Well Doctor do you want to know what its going to happen next ? " Timeatron whispered.

" No " said The Doctor looking directly into Reggie's eyes 

" Well, I will tell you all the same. When I give the command, I will ask Reggie to attack you. I will tell him you are an Evil man who wants to hurt his New Master, Me. He will do this for me as he loves his Master." Timeatron said in a hushed whisper.

Then he started shouting and ranting " I will instruct him he must be savage, and rip you apart, until all  that is left of you is a bloody corpse.  " 

" I will then inspect the damage, retrieve your Tardis key, just in case mine does not work in your lock.  Then I will tell Reggie to take my to where your Tardis is located. Then I will leave this miserable backwater Planet forever. I plan to strand you here forever Doctor, FOREVER !!! " Timeatron was so agitated he was jumping up and down.

" No, No, he is a good dog. He would Never hurt me or anyone, He will never help you. " Said The Doctor.

Then The Doctor paused.... and  said " But maybe he would if the person he was attacking  had told us he was IMMORTAL and could not get hurt ! "

Timeatron had stopped laughing. He was puzzled by what The Doctor had said. As he could see that Reggie was under his evil  control he nothing of it. The Dogs Eyes were Red, a sign that he was fully under Timeatron's influence .

The Doctor then placed his hand back on the back of Reggie, who's gaze was now fixed firmly on Timeatron.

Then The Doctor said  three words " Ready, Aim........ Fire ! " and with that he closed his eyes.

" Oakie Doakie Doc " said Reggie 

Hearing the Dog speak was a shock for Timeatron who had a puzzled wide eye look on his face.

 

On that command to Fire, Reggie let loose the full power of his Heat Vision, directed straight in the eyes of the man who had wanted him  to hurt the Doctor.

Timeatron screamed as the blast hit him straight in the eye's

" Keep going Reggie, give him all you got " said The Doctor feeling that the whole room around them was starting to heat up.

There was a Big Blinding Flash.....

As the light levels began to return to normal, Reggie said " You can look now Doctor

The Doctor opened his eyes. He could see Timeatron laying backwards on the ground his hand covering his eyes.  He was moaning at first, then stopped and started to shake. Was he having a fit ? thought The Doctor. Maybe he had been wrong to tell Reggie to use his Heat Vision on Timeatron.

 ...but then  Timeatron started to laugh, the shaking was him trying to contain his laughter. Finally he calmly stood  up and opened his eyes......

 Where his eyes should have been was now just Two Black Voids.... Then they started to glow with bright energy.

" He's regenerating" Announced The Doctor

Both The Doctor and Reggie watched as Timeatron started to glow. At first it was his eye's, this moved to his skin.

Brighter and Brighter Timeatron glowed. He was now radiating so much energy The Doctor worried that he was about to explode.

 Quick Reggie Run ! " Shouted The Doctor

The Doctor ran passed the Right side of Timeatron, who  still could not see but had started to stagger forward ward arms held out trying to grab a hold of  either The Doctor or his Dog. Reggie ran to Timeatron's Left. As he passed the Evil Time Lord Timeatron managed to make contact with his collar. Timeatron then threw himself on top of Reggie wrestling him to the ground.

" I do not have to SEE you, to punish you ! " He shouted. "You burnt me, I will burn you with my Regeneration Energy. " Timeatron laughed.

The Mechanical Mutt could feel the heat already starting to heat up his outer shell.

The Doctor by this time had reached the door. He turned the latch, and nothing happened. He tried it again..... still nothing. 

 Then he remembered how Timeatron had shown them how he shut the door earlier. The Doctor clicked his fingers. Nothing then he clicked them again twice.... still the door was locked. 

Reggie and Timeatron were still wrestling with one another on the floor. Normally Reggie strength would have easily over come any human opponent. However, as he had exhausted  most of his power supply using his heat vision, he was now running on reduced power. This and the radiation that was leaking out of  Timeatron did not help matters either.  As Timeatron continued to glow and glow he was  laughing like a crazy person.

Timeatron  then heard what that The Doctor rattling the door handle and then clinking his fingers assumed that the Doctor was attempting to open the outer door. He wailed again and shrieked .

" Doctor only I can open the door that way, its not about clinking my fingers, its all about the sound I make "  Cackled Timeatron. 

"Acoustics ! " shouted The Doctor .... He turned to see Reggie and Timeatron  fighting on the ground. 

"Reggie, your BF told me that you always record every mission you go on with him. You record Pictures " Shouted The Doctor

" Yes " Reggie replied " And Sound Too " he added. Then Reggie realized what The Doctor was hinting at.

Reggie open his mouth and out came a click, the same click that Timeatron had made earlier when he had snapped his fingers,  it had been recorded by the cybernetic canine earlier.

As the door started to open... The Doctor  looked back and shouted " Good Boy, now hurry up we need to leave now !"

Timeatron hearing this click went to hold up his hand. The Doctor realizing that he was attempting to close the door by clicking his fingers again,  shouted. " Reggie,  Remember I told you No Biting back at the Hotel, well I give you permission to be a BAD DOG , a VERY BAD DOG  ! "

" OKAY ! " shouted Reggie, and with that Reggie lent forward  bit Timeatron's hand as hard as he could before the Villain could snap his fingers. 

 

The shock and sudden pain made Timeatron  release  Reggie, and Reggie pushed him off of himself and sprang to his feet.

By this time, The Doctor was outside the Time Capsule looking in he could see Reggie bounding towards the door way.  Timeatron was on his feet. Still not able to see was staggering after Reggie. He made a last ditch attempted  grab Reggie, and made contact with his tail. He pulled and started backing up towards the Control Console.

" I'm going to get you Doctor, and your little Dog TOO ! " Screamed Timeatron. 

What Timeatron did not know, Reggie had extended his tail and was now out side the Door, with the Doctor. His eye sight had not been restored yet.

Exiting the Time Capsule Reggie smiled at The Doctor, The Doctor smiled back, both relieved they had both escaped the clutches of Timeatron. 

Reggie turned around to face Timeatron who was waving the end of  Reggie's Tail as if it was a Prized item. He was mocking Reggie, he cackled " If you want your tail you will have to come and get it !"

Reggie had two options, The First he could detach the Tip of his Tail leaving it with Timeatron and then run away..... or Fight Back....

Timeatron then squeezed and pulled at the Tip of the Tail..... This caused Reggie some pain. If he left his tail with this mad man, hopefully once back in the Tardis a replacement could be made. Jan & Jace were experts in fixing things after all...... But Reggie liked his Tail.

Then Reggie Shouted " You a Very Bad Man, give me back my tail "  and with that a compartment in the middle of his chest opened

..... and out came a Big Boxing Glove on a spring that sprung out towards the the Evil Time Lord.....

 until it made contact with Timeatron's jaw knocking him back against the Conrol Console.

The impact was enough  making Timeatron release Reggie's Tail.

Timeatron stood motionless, as if in shock.

 

Reggie reeled in his tail as quickly as he could, along with the Boxing Glove. When the end of Reggie's tail had reached the door he hocked it around the handle and pulled it closed after him. It was then when  Timeatron  release the final wave of regeneration energy. The energy would have caused damage to Reggie, The Doctor thought. It was also likely it could have injured him, causing him to Regenerate.  The energy was contained within the Time Capsule Shell.

The Doctor who had prepared earlier and already had his Key already in his hand  reached over and locked the door.

Reggie watched on as he finally retracted the final part of his tail into his body. 

" Doctor we must quickly move away from here, other wise Timeatron will come out and chase us " Reggie said pulling at The Doctor's jacket,

The Doctor turned and smiled " It is fine Reggie, Timeatron will not be going any where, let alone come out and chase us."

Reggie looked puzzled. " Uhh ? " he said

The Doctor then explained to his bemused Mutt  " It's simple, when you closed the door I quickly locked it from outside with my Key. The problem with some of these older models of Time Capsules was that if  someone locked the door from the outside, the door could not be opened from the inside.  This was never usually a problem as I told you earlier this Model was built to be operated by One person. So the chances of someone locking themselves inside was always a problem, but not really possible or probable. So Timeatron is now imprisoned inside his Time Capsule, and due to the modifications  I made earlier to his Control Console,  he can no longer move his ship to another location. I removed the time scoop, the Ball shaped thing I asked you to store for me. So he cannot use that to try to find someone or some way of escaping. So until I can work out what to do with him, he will have to remain here where he cannot cause anyone any more trouble. " 

" Wow, that was a smart plan " Reggie said 

The Doctor had noticed that Reggie's eyes and nose were glowing slightly. His physical contact with Timeatron may have had an effect on his cybernetic systems. 

" Do you feel alright Reggie ? " The Doctor said

" I feel a bit tingly all over, it must be  all the excitement we had inside there. " Reggie said pointing towards the wooden box.

" Yes, it was very eventful " Agreed The Doctor. Once back at the Tardis he would analyse Reggie to make sure that he had not been damaged or in anyway affected by contact with Timeatron.

Reggie then jumped up and licked The Doctor's face. 

" Thank You Reggie, now I want you to go back to Dog Mode, no talking until we find Jack and Penry"  said The Doctor wiping Reggie's Cyber Slobber off of his face with is Red Handkerchief.

Reggie nodded.
