Yesterdays Heroes once more part Nineteen The 5 Farllon Princes

Whilst the Tardis was traveling to find the next person on the Doctors list of people  he need to help him battle the Grand Master, he had ended up telling his companions about a story of a great battle that had taken place Billions of years ago. A time before the Time Lords.

The Doctor continued his story..... of the  Royal son's of King CEZ -ARR of Farllon, all  of which should have and  could have ascended to the Royal throne before the young Unknown Prince.... but fate made sure they did not....

Unrolling the scroll some more, they all could see that at some time the scroll had been either damaged or had had part of it removed..... but the Doctor continued the epic tale the best he could. He pointed out that the damaged part had the mark of the high council of Gallifrey. This could mean one of two things. Either the missing part had been either too badly damaged  and it needed to be removed to preserve the rest of the scroll, or was the information contained  inaccurate, misleading or wrong ?..... or  was it that The High Council did not want this information to be seen.... and therefore removed it ?

Was it was a line or many lines  of text that was missing  ? Was it a Picture showing the Face of the Forgotten King or a clue to his name ?

The Doctor believed that the truth was most likely that the High Council wanted to remove this information to preserve the mystery.

There was still something to read, so The Doctor continued.

The Missing Part and the repair

The next panel showed the first four son's of King CEZ - ARR. The Doctor explained that each of the Royal Princes wore a Crown based on the Princes Crown that they Father once wore when he was a Royal Prince.

The Doctor reminded Jack and Phooey that in the picture they had seen with the King being dead, he worn another Crown. That would have been his own Prince's Crown.  Each Prince would be allowed to enhance his Fathers design  it in any way he wanted. This was his own personal sign or crest.  If this Prince  would go on to be the King of Farllon his Prince's Crown would be used as the design that his son's would model theirs on.

The Late King Buried Wearing his Prince's Crown as was the tradition.

" I can show this better" said the The Doctor jumping up from when he was sitting rushing  back to the place where he had taken the scroll.  He returned a few seconds later with a dusty old book.  This was one of my old school books the Doctor explained.  I studied the War of The Realms and The Kings of Farllon  when I was very young.  I have something to show you .... he explained, placing the book in front of the edger duo who had stood up in reaction to the Doctor's behavior.

The Doctor's Old School Book

With Great Excitement the Doctor opened the book

Stopping on one of the pages,  the Doctor showed them a drawing he had done of an arm and two markings on it.   The Doctor then continue that to show that a Male Child was born of the King, the King would mark the baby's skin with a copy of his Prince's Crown and that of the Royal Farllon Crown.... So on the Child's naming day he branded  on his shoulder as A Royal Prince of a King.

" I bet that hurt ! " winced Phooey.  "Poor little Baby" he continued.

" Yes" The Doctor agreed.... and went on " We should never Judge another culture by our own standards.  Even People of Planet Earth have done nasty things to their own Male children as part of a religious tradition ! "

"What ? " said Jack

Phooey crossed his legs winced again  and said " I will tell you later !!!! "

Phooey crossed his legs winced again  and said " I will tell you later !!!! "

The Doctor  continued flicking through the pages and stopped. Here is a picture of some of the Royal Prince's and their Father. " I drew this myself"  said the Doctor smiling

"Don't you mean copied it from the Scrolls" whispered Phooey to Jack

Looking at the next page the Doctor smiled. "I  had forgotten about this " he exclaimed

On one page was a Picture of two Prince's Crowns, and on the other page was a piece of blue folded paper.

The Doctor taking the Blue folded document from the Book he closed it.

What was on the Blue Document ?

Find out next time

Until then Enjoy and Stay Safe
