YESTERDAYS HEROES ONCE MORE Part Fifty Four .... A Blast and an Escape

Radley had discovered his stolen car, but at the same time he had been discovered himself. 

Radley looked at both of the man, then he spotted an open cabin door behind them. Could he make his escape through it ? 

Radley started to walk forward with his hands held aloft...... Then 

The answer to how or could he escape came quicker than he had thought as at that very second one of the smoke bombs that he had planted went off.

 This caused a large funnel of flames to erupt from the quay side. It had ignited some of the oil that had remained in the Barrel.  Both of the Guys with shot guns ran forward passed Radley and looked over the railings towards the Dock and the direction of the explosion.

As they did the 2nd bomb went off. This time sending  the Barrel up into the  Night skies like a rocket. Radley used this as the diversion and dived through the cabin door, and quickly slammed it shut.

 There was a locking bar on the metal door which Radley engaged and jammed. By the time the guards had realized Radley had disappeared he was off to hopefully find some way of communicating with the Police.

He took a quick peep through the Port Hole in the Door then speed away.

Radley knew that the explosion would have at least alerted the other members of the Gang. So far only the last two Guards had seen him, as the two that had fallen into the water had not. However, Snakes had seen him, and sooner or later his body would be found along with Tony's.

The Ship must have a communication or Radio Room he thought. If Radley could find it he would be able to call for help. .... But where was it. ? Radley thought that if he went to the Bridge on the boat there may be a Radio or so indication of where the Radio Room was.

Up Up he went from deck to deck. Still no sign of the Radio Room.... and no sign of any other person either. Then he saw a sign ... it read Conning Tower. He could hear Music Playing and a Woman screaming.  He peeped through the small Port Hole in the door. There were people inside.

He could see three men and a Woman. Two of the Men he did not know,one was dressed in a suit, and other one was dressed in Uniform. Possibly the Captain..... but the 3rd was JJ Biggles and the Woman was his wife Rita.

Rita was screaming at her husband, and from what Radley could make out she was not happy that she was having to leave Big City with her husband as he needed to skip the country to avoid being arrested again.

Then a door on the other side of the Conning Tower that lead to the outer deck opened and the Shorter Guy with freckles and Brown  Hair that Radley had met on Deck C,  ran in. 

He told the group about the fire and the explosion and about the mystery man dressed in Blue. With Rita screaming at JJ, and the Radio Blasting out Music no one in the room had heard the explosion it seemed, and the fact that in the Storming with the Thunder and Lightning out side was  helping either. 

 After " Freckles " had explained everything, JJ Biggles picked up the Walkie Talkie and started shouting into it. Radley turned  his on  the one he had taken from Tony, and listened. JJ Biggles was ordering everyone back to the boat it was setting sail immediately.  Also he announced that if anyone saw a strange Man dressed in Blue, they were to shoot him.

The Captain looked a little concerned, and called over to JJ and explained that most of his Crew were not on board, but would do what he could to set sail within the hour. He would contact his second in command who was on duty on Deck D in the Radio Room.

Radley knew he was now trapped aboard a Boat that was soon to set sail. If he tried to leave via the Quay side he would be spotted by at least one of the of either the Crew or The Criminal Gang. At least he knew where the Radio Room was. Three Decks down on Deck D, so he made his way down the nearest stairway, trying to be as stealthy as he could be......Down Down he went until he got to Deck D.. As he exited the stairwell he came face to face The Tall Ginger Headed guy.... Gun in Hand... He did not look pleased to see Radley. 

Radley stopped his story yet again, and drank from a glass of water Samurai Jack had handed him.

Radley gulpped down a big mouth full.

What Happens next..... Had Radley's luck finally run out ? To Find Out Come Back Next Time

Yesterdays Heroes Once More Part Fifty THREE.... A Discovery & Discovered

In the meeting room everyone was listening to Radley Crowne's story of how he became The Blue Falcon. Radley had taken a breather took a sip of water , smiled .

Then Radley Crowne  continued with his story about how he first became the Blue Falcon, and why.

Radley had found the Cargo Container that he believed had his stolen car inside of.

He broken open the latches, pulled open the doors....... and found the car. It was his car, minus the radiator figurehead, that was now with the Big City PD as evidence in the murder case. He now had evidence to connect the Car to the criminal gang..... the Killers

Re locking the container Radley had a feeling that someone was standing behind him. He slowly turned to face two Men neither of which he had encountered before. They were dressed in Yellow Rain Wear like the other two guards, and also more worrying were holding shot guns also. One was much taller than then other , but both looked mean. 

Radley did not want to risk being shot again so raised his hands. He looked at them. They were both mid twenties, One was tall and had Ginger hair, whilst the other was much shorter with what appeared to be Brown hair and freckles .  The smaller of the two guys, waved his shot gun as to indicate that he wanted Radley to walk towards them.

Was this the end for Radley ?

Yesterdays Heroes Once More.... Part Fifty Two.... The Falcon Makes his Move.

Whilst the Blue Falcon was telling his Tale, Dyno Mutt was projecting pictures onto the wall of the meeting room. Just like what Space Ghost had done  using one of his gauntlets. This was helping to explain and add to the details of the origin story of The Blue Falcon. The Doctor was standing beside Dyno Mutt trying to stop the Cyber Canine from getting too excited. As everyone knew what happened when Reggie got excited.

 Even Radley himself was impressed by how much information that Dyno Mutt had discovered. He was always surprised how at one moment his faithful Hound could be a real Dog Blunder, but at other times he really was a Wonder Dog,

Some of the information Dyno Mutt had created himself. The Pictures of  The Blue Falcon being shot had shocked all in the room, but it had also caused Radley to stop for a moment.

Rubbing his chest he prepared to continued his story...... 

Radley had been looking out of the door or the Cargo Hanger when he noticed someone coming his way. The stranger opened the door and shouted 

" Hey, Snakes... where are you ? Is you in here ?  The Boss wants you ! "

The Man then entered, Radley stood back in the shadows.  As the guy continued to walk in his direction Radley waited until he had passed him. Then Radley struck him on the back of the head with hilt of the revolver that  he had taken from "Snakes" . The guy moaned and went down. Radley checked, the guy was still breathing. Checking him over, Radley retrieved another revolver, and a short wave radio. It had a light that was flashing. Some one was trying to make contact. He flicked the Radio on.... A voice came out of the speaker. 

"Tony. Tony.... Yous found Snakes yet ?..... Tony ! speak to me.  Find Snakes and bring him to me !... Are you listening  Tony!    When you find Snakes, tell him Mr Biggles is not happy with him. Tony Tony, when you find Snakes bring him to the Tower".. Then another voice was heard, a deep rasping voice. All it said was "Marsh, has Tony found Snakes yet !"  Radley switched it off. This could be useful and he popped it in his pocket alone with the 2nd revolver.

The name Biggles was known to Radley. John Joseph Biggles was a very nasty person. He was one of the worst villains that Big City had. He had been arrested many times, but never convicted, as usually the evidence or the witnesses what could have helped convict him always managed to disappear before he went to trial.  The 2nd Voice on the Radio was that of Mr Biggles. Radley had met him once at a charity reception. Biggles had a wife called Rita. She was beautiful, had won lots of awards in her so called acting career, but the fact was she not a very good actress. The types of films she had acted in were not aimed at the "Family Market" , but they had made J J Biggles lots of money in the Blue Movie Business. He only married her as he thought he needed to be seen with a beautiful woman on his arm.  Made him look more respectable, But Rita was an in fact an ex Call Girl Radley knew that there was nothing charitable about the man, and she was no better. She helped him choose the Call Girls that Biggles used to blackmail people in power.

Now he knew that The Scar faced Man was more than likely called Snakes, This 2nd Guy was Tony, The Guy on the Walkie Talkie was Marsh who  worked for Mr Biggles. 

After hiding Tony' unconscious body  in a wooden crate, Radley look out of the door again. Most of the Guy's had disappeared, only two where standing by the gang plank that lead onto the ship. Radley knew he had to get on the ship, just to check that the Rolls Royce was actually there. If it was he could connect it and the gang to the murder of Parker and Penny.

Radley gingerly crept out of the Cargo Bay, he hid behind a lot of barrels on the Quay side. There were two men with shot guns guarding the only entry , Radley knew that he would need to get passed them if he wanted to make entry to the cargo ship.  

He had an idea,  tapping each one he knew they were empty, but had had oil in them. From his belt he found a string of the smoke bombs. He had designed them to be used in riots by the Police. They had small timers on them so could be deployed and set off later.  He only had 5 of them. He took two. Set the timers to 10 minutes and dropped one into two of the Oil Barrels. He then took one of the two revolvers and removed the clip. Removing half the bullets he which he stuffed into his pockets he dropped the the other bullets into  one of the barrels. Hopefully these would make a louder explosion. He now had a diversion, but could he get to a position where he could board the Ship unseen ?. 

Then a gust of wind caused a rope to break free that was holding part of the gang plank steady.. Both of the guards were hit, with one falling backwards down between the side side of the dock and the gap between the ship into the water. As the 2nd Man turned his to help his friend out of the water, Radley ran forward and pushed the 2nd guy into the water. And without looking back Radley used the now unsteady Gang Plank to enter the Ship. Once inside he cut the remaining ropes and the gang plant fell into the water. This would ensure if the two guards did manage to get out of the water they would be unable to get onboard the ship quickly. And nor would any of the others he had seen earlier.

Once on board Radley looked out of one of the Port Holes to see if there were anyone else that may he a seen him stealing aboard the ship. It appeared except for the two guards who he could see floundering around in the water the Dock and Quay side were empty.

Now inside the ship  Radley switch on the Tracker Tracer, he turned down the volume and pointed it around the dark room until "PING" it registered the Rolls Royce. It was on a higher deck. Radley quickly moved around the boat until he found the source of the signal. It was on the main deck. Finding the correct cargo container  Radley broke open the latches....... 

Back in the meeting room again The Blue Falcon took a break from his story, and looked over at his Faithful Four Legged Friend, winked and gave him the thumbs up. Dyno Smiled back.

Next time we learn if Radley was successful in finding the car.
