THE AIR WOOFIE WALKER

GRABB-HOWL LA was the captain of an space ship from the planet XANDOG, His mission was to seek out and make peaceful relationships with near by alien life forms and civilizations.  Grabb-Howl La had been a very successful military leader with the The NOVA PAWS, and this tour of duty was near the end of its seven year stint. Grabb confided in his 1st officer, Puppyreus  that he was uncertain where or what he would do next.

Grabb's Ship, was on the final leg of  what had been a very successful mission, when it encountered an unidentified vessel.

Then before they could hail the vessel, Grabb was transported from the bridge of his ship to that of the other ship.  There he came face to face with its owner,  The Mighty Planet Muncher DOG-ALACTUS.

Dog-Alactus announced that  he was in need of a new herald to replace his former Herald Hound, The Silver Sniffer. ( Who was now residing on earth, after a small disagreement with his master,  full story to be covered soon)  Dog-alactus informed Grabb that he had scanned the minds of his ship, and decided that he, Grabb-Howl La was the most suitable to fill the position now vacated by The Silver Sniffer.

Without a second thought Grabb accepted Dog-alactus' job offer, as he thought that the chance to explorer the Universe was ideal for him. Although it was very clear that Dog-alactus had made him an offer he could not refuse anyway.

Like Gnawing Padd, aka the Silver Sniffer before him, Dog-alactus transformed Grabb into a form more ideally suited for the position as his Herald.  After Grabb-Howl La was bathed in the PUPPY POWER COSMIC by his new master,  he stood anew as THE AIR WOOFIE WALKER,  HERALD HOUND  to the Mighty DOG-ALACTUS.

For many years, the new master slave relationship ran smoothly.  Dog-alactus was pleased with his new herald, and The Air Woofie Walker was happy to serve his hungry Master. Dog-alactus would share stories with his new Herald, and over time they would build up a close relationship. However, their happy co existence was not to last.

Whilst sniffing out the next meal for his master, the herald spied a fleet of warships approaching his beloved Dog-alactus. The ships contained a race of canines who feared that the Planet Muncher was too close to their solar system for comfort, and as they did not want their home planet appearing on the next menu they had decided to attack.

This race of Canine's was called The OVOIDOGGIES, and they had built a weapon that they believed could destroy Dog-alactus if he ever came to call. HOWEVER,  when they fired the weapon at The Planet Muncher, his herald took the full impact of the weapon.  As a result the Air Woofie Walker was fatally injured.

As Dog-alactus had not yet fed, he was too weak to take his revenge on the Ovoidoggies.  He was forced to retreat to safety, where he watched his faithful Herald Hound die as he could not spare any of his Puppy Power Cosmic to heal him, as doing so would mean possible death to himself.

Much later when a weakened  Planet Muncher managed to feed again, he tried to revive his trusted Herald Hound, but this was not possible even for him. He had become very attached to the Air Woofie Walker's company he decided to build a robotic copy of his body, and into this he placed the Air Woofie Walker's  consciousness, that he had managed to preserve before his death.
Even though the new robotic hound was a copy of the original given the life essence and memories of the beloved Herald Hound, it soon became apparent that  Dog-alactus had failed to remake his faithful herald as he was before. This Robotic copy was lacking the spark of the original.



As the Robotic Air Woofie Walker did not meet with the full approval of his Master,  Dog-alactus sends the Robotic Copy to earth to retrieve the Silver Sniffer as his Herald Hound.

On Earth as he attempted to meet with the Silver Sniffer,  the Robotic Hound ends up in conflict with many of the other hero hounds (and Vill-hounds) on the planet.  He is destroyed by the Silver Sniffer who realises what he is, and his purpose, however, when the Robotic Hound repairers its self, he believes that he is the True Air Woofie Walker, not a Robotic Copy.

Again he goes in search of the SILVER SNIFFER, but this time bumps into The Mutty PAW, DOG of THUNDER.  PAW destroys the mechanical Mutt again...... but that was not the last of The AIR WOOFIE WALKER'S story, but this is the end of his tale for the time being.

THE SILVER SNIFFER

Before he became the SILVER SNIFFER, he was called Gnawing Padd. He was a astronomer from the Planet MUTTZ-LA who dreamed of one day exploring the stars and planets.  His was a happy life, he enjoyed his profession and enjoyed the love of a his chosen mate, the beautiful Rubba-Ball. Life was good until he detected that planet munching mega mutt, DOG-ALACTUS was coming to dinner.   On the Menu was, the planet Muttz-La.

Gnawing Padd blasted off in a space ship and confronted Dog-alactus as he was entering the solar system. Padd pleaded for  the survival of his home world, and that of his beloved Rubba-Ball. He offered Dog-lactus that in return for sparing his home planet and his lover Rubba-Ball, he was willing  to serve as slave and herald.. his job to SNIFF OUT suitable planets for the planet muncher to consume.

DOG-ALACTUS accepts this deal as he would no longer have the concern of where his next meal was coming from. For Gnawing Padd, this would give him the opportunity to explore the stars in a way he could have near thought of.

In accepting Padd's deal Dog-alactus decided that his new "herald hound"  needed up grading so that he could survive and travel in space. The Mighty Dog-alactus then bestows a portion of his own PUPPY POWER COSMIC to Gnawing -Padd. This transformed him into the SILVER SNIFFER, and his new  master commanded  his slave to go sniff out his next meal.

Most of Padd's identity was removed during the transformation, but his mind and values stayed intact. Which meant that he would try to lead his master to planets that were either unpopulated or if life had evolved it was primitive and without significance.

 Along with the new look, the Silver Sniffer had been given many gifts and great power. His greatest gift was his mode of transportation. A Silver Board that was part of him and he could travel on at great speeds sniffing out the next dinner for his master.

This arrangement of Master and slave lasted for many years, until The Silver Sniffer sniffed out a Planet Called Earth..... But that's another story, for another time.

DOG-ALACTUS

DOG-ALACTUS is the sole survivor of the Universe that existing prior the Current Universe.

The destruction of the old Universe caused what is called the Big Bang, so the death of the old gave birth to the new.

DOG-ALACTUS in his previous life was called Gal-hound a scientific canine with a strong moral code and ethical beliefs,  who lived on the paradise world call TAIL . It is believed that this world was the most advanced in the whole of that Universe.

Gal-hound discovered was the Universe was compacting into a single area.  He went in a space ship to investigate, and ended up being absorbed into the mass, but instead of destroying him, it changed him and evolved him.  This change took millions of years and during this time the old universe had died giving birth to the new.  When he finally emerged from his long "sleep" Gal-hound had now been transformed in to one of the most powerful creatures in the Universe.

More God Than Dog he decided to travel the new universe exploring and looking for his purpose. Millions of years later he had seen everything to be seen. From the birth of life in the cosmos to rise and fall of many races and civilizations. During his travels he started to build himself a new home world, but this construct itself grew larger and larger until it was so large that Suns and planets orbited it. Within this construct he collected aspects of life and culture, so his world became like a large Museum of The Universe.  He called his "SHIP" TAIL 2 after his long destroyed home world.

Then after millions of years of existence, he began to feel the pangs of HUNGER. At first he was able to satisfy his hunger by absorbing asteroids and space waste matter.  BUT soon these  morsels of food did not satisfy him. Gradually he began to feed on larger moons and small satellite planets, but again his hunger grew. This feeding process continued for the next few million years until he was forced to feed on a world populated with life forms. He found that this world satisfied him much longer than he had ever been before, BUT again he found he still needed to feed. As the years passed he found that he was no longer worried about what he consumed, as long as he consumed enough energy to survive and live.

He realised that he would always need to feed and his survival was his uppermost concern. All traces of Gal-hound and his moral code had no longer a place in his life,   Gal-hound was gone, he was now DOG-ALACTUS, and it was feeding time again ! 

Some advanced worlds even tried to destroy DOG-ALACTUS, but his power so great that he would not be bothered by their actions.

His cycle of feeding and destruction coutinued for millions of years until someone came into his life and made him rethink his eating habits

CAUSING A BLAST IN THE NEGATIVE ZONE

BLAAST-DAAWG is a member of an alien race that lives in the Negative Zone. His people the Balurri-hounds, of which he ruled, rose up and overthrew him as they became fed up with his brutal nature and tyrannical rule.

They imprisoned him in a specially made containment dog basket and set him adrift in space.

He was freed by a chance encounter with Mr Fur-tastic of the FUR-TASTIC FOUR, who himself  had become trapped in the Negative Zone.

The now freed BLAAST-DAAWG, followed Lead Richards back through the Barker Build portal into normal space.  Where he tried to enslave the world.

However, the FF managed to beat him, and returned him into his own space in the Negative Zone.

Back in the Negative Zone he quickly took back his empire, and continued to wage war on all the inhabitants of the Negative Zone.  This brought him into a long conflict with Anni-hound-lias, himself the self proclaimed ruler of the Negative Zone.

Over the years BLAAST-DAAWG has succeeded in opening the portal into normal space many times, as his need to conquer is constant.  He has had alliances with his enemy Anni-hound-lias to conquer threats, but these have usually ended up with one double crossing the other one.

WELCOME TO THE NEGATIVE ZONE

Anni-hound-ilas is the tyrant ruler of what is called the Negative Zone. He is basically an insect who evolved due to an interaction with alien technology.

He was a weakly insect creature when he  found a knowledge transference helmet in the wreckage of an ancient space ship. This greatly enhanced his intelligence so that he could learn and master the advanced technology. The helmet also gave him increased strength allowed him to build an exo skeleton suit of Amour to allow him to move like the long dead creatures that had once piloted the damaged space ship.  With his new body he was able to fashion a COSMIC CONTROL ROD, which gave him great power.

He developed a paranoid like need to survive, which meant he was driven to destroy  or annihilate all other life forms that he believed threatened his existence.  He also began to use his new found power to dominate the weaker lifeforms in the Negative Zone.  He believed that all beings in the Negative Zone had a choice, bow down and be conquered or stand against him and be destroyed. His Comic Power Rod was sufficient to both destroy any Resistance and enslave the remainder. This earned him the name Anni-hound-ilas.

He quickly became ruler of both the Negative Zone and most of the adjoining space.

Ann-hound-ilas was content with his empire, until 3 members of the Fur-tastic Four,  Mr Fur-tastic,  Hot Dog, The Canine Torch &  The Hairy Thing entered into his Universe from Normal Space. These travellers fascinated  Ann-hound-ilas. Firstly as he did not know of the place they came from existed, secondly they all had power to rival his own, so could be a threat.... and lastly he now knew there was another world for him to conqueror and enslave.

He quickly made contact with the 3 FF members, and found that they were looking for him, or something he had.  Lead Richards explained that he was seeking something that could help save the life of his wife and mate,  Shuh (sue)Tzu Storm-Richards aka The Invisible Pooch. Sue was expecting a puppy, but was experiencing complications with the pregnancy brought about by the comic rays that had originally transformed the FF in the beginning.

Lead realised that Anni-hound-lias' Comic Rod could help cure Sue  and their Unborn Puppy.  He asked to borrow it but Anni-hound-ilas refused and imprisoned the 3 some.  They escaped captivity and took the Cosmic Rod , promising to return it as soon as possible.

Back Home they  cured Sue and she gave birth to a healthy puppy.   Being True to his word, Mr Fur-tastic returned the Cosmic Rod, but Anni-Hound-lias declared that he would not rest until he had Annihilated the FF and all the life in their universe.

Over the next few years he would battle with the FF and other hero hounds from normal space, as he believed that they were a threat to his very existence.

THE BLOBBY DOGGIE

FREDOGIC J DAWGS was always a big dog, but at puberty his weight and mass increased ten fold. He ended up in a travelling  Circus as a Sideshow Freak, where he was christened THE BLOBBY DOGGIE.

But there is more to The Blobby Doggie than just a BIG FAT HOUND DOG,  he also had super strength and an unusually elastic and thick skin. This skin was extremely difficult to penetrate and he was able to absorb any impact from a gun shot to a direct hit from a cannon ball or missile. His final ability was that he could become completely immovable if he wished by standing still.  ( as long as he was in contact with the ground. This ability he would learn was due to his natural ability to control his gravity  mass at will.) These "gifts" made him a star in the Circus, especially as his trick of having a cannon ball fired at his body twice daily, and three times on Sunday, brought the house down every time.

However, Fredogic did not know why he could do these amazing things, or what he really was until he was contacted by Pupfessor Rex.  As we all know Pupfessor Rex was the secret leader of The X MUTTS, and he had realised that the Blobby Doggie was in fact a MUTT-ANT.

The Pupfessor tried to get The Blobby Doggie to join his merry team of Mutt-ant Mutts but Fredogic refused saying he could do better looking after himself than wasting his time helping others.  Before Pupfessor could erase the memory of the X Mutts from Fredogic's mind, the Blobby Doggie escaped back to the Circus, where he rounded up all of the circus performers and returned back to the REX'S SCHOOL FOR GIFTED DOGGIES  and attacked the X - MUTTS.

Greatly out numbered, the 5 X-MUTTS were quickly  captured by the Circus people. However, the X-Mutts did manage to escape and Pupfessor Rex managed to stop the fight by using his Mind Control Powers.  The Circus people then pack up and trundled back to the Circus with no clue to what or why they were there.


The Blobby Doggie soon had his memories restored and would do battle with the X - MUTTS time and time again. He would also become a full time criminal using his powers to help him steal what he needed in life.

He would become part of The Brother-Hood of Evil Mutt-ants lead by Mutt-neto,  and later a new version of the team this time lead by the the shape shifting Mutt -tique.
