In the 1960's BAT-MANIA hit our telly screens.

This colourful fun programme would run for 3 series, and once cancelled would live on in the world of  repeats. Some where at this moment in time,   and in some country ........BATMAN is still being shown today.

As a young Boy growing up in the 1960's I had no idea how Camp and Corny the series really was.  But we loved it.

Adam West & Burt Ward ARE  Bat-Man and Robin.

When I first started my blog, I did a Batman picture, I have gone back and re hashed and tidied it up   and therefore, present it again along with a couple of NEW faces from the same programme.

A NEW LOOK AT OLD HEROES 2 # TEENAGED MUTANT NINJA TURTLES

Originally a comic that became a weekly cartoon series for the young.  The Teen aged Mutant Ninja Turtles (  in the UK the Ninja Turtles became Hero Turtles  )  became an over night success..... and a marketers dream.

HOME SWEET HOME

All boys and girls wanted to own their own Ninja Turtles, which resulted in pet shops selling many Terrapins to brow beaten parents trying their best to  be GOOD PARENTS. The toys were great, but the kids wanted more.

This resulted in many UNWANTED Terrapins ending up dumped in ponds and rivers once they started to grow from small cute critters to large snapping horrors. Many faced the ultimate sacrifice...... being flushed down the drains..... !   VERY IRONIC indeed.

The toy range grew and grew, and after the comics and the cartoon series came the video games and the Movies.

The original Heroes in a Half Shell are due back on our screen very soon, with a new TV show or possible Movie outting.. Many of us remember the first time we  ventured into the sewers of New York City to enjoy TURTLE POWER ,   lets hope the next generation still enjoys the antics of Leonardo, Donatello, Michelangelo and Raphael

A NEW LOOK AT OLD HEROES no 1# THE POWER RANGERS

Here are a few Heroes that 1st  appeared on TV in the early 1990's... Mixing Martial Arts, Robots, Dinosaurs, Aliens and Monsters..... what more could your average pre teen ask for ?

Although the line up and some of the colour schemes have changed over the years, the group or groups always seem to continue amaze younger viewers....... and SELL LOTS OF TOYS !

So here is my take on the Mighty Morphing Power Rangers, or in Buddy's World  THE MUTTY WOOFING PUPPY POWER RANGERS

NO ONE IS THIS TEACHERS PET !

Pupfessor Severing Snapp teaches lessons in the use and making  of Mutt Magic  potions and elixirs.

Not a happy chap on the surface, he finds enjoyment  in terrorising his puppy pupils.   The school regards him as a fine teacher,  but is not to be messed with by the Students of Dogworts. or the other teachers !

His aim in life is to become the head of the Defense Against  the Bark Arts at the school, and one day Head Mutt Master of the whole school. Will this happen ? only time will tell.


A very powerful Wiz-hound in his own right, he is one of the good guys, but tends not to show it. His initial dislike of Hairy Potter was due to  Hairy's father, who had treated Severing very baddly years ago when they were both students at Dogworts.  BUT deep down inside he is proud to have played a part in helping mold and teach the young Wiz-hound enabling Hairy to become one of the greatest Magical Mutts ever.

Head Mutt Master at Dog-Warts school of Mutt Magic is Pupfessor Houndus Woofric Bri-Hound DOGGIE-DORE

He saw the potential in the Young Pup Hairy Potter, and over the years he helped guide the puppy wiz-hound along the path of goodness.

With Pupfessor Doggie-dore's help, Hairy Potter readied himself for his final confrontation with the Evil That Cannot Be Named

THE EVIL THAT CAN NEVER BE NAMED !

Lord VOLDE-MUTT is one mean evil dawg.   He is responsible for the Murder of Hairy Potter's Parents when Hairy was but a pup.

His attempt to destroy the young Hairy resulted in him being destroyed himself, or so it was believed. The scar on Hairy's  head was the only sign left after Volde-mutt was destroyed. This scar would link Hairy to Volde-mutt and vice versa.

Lord Volde-Mutt spend many years as a formless spirit, gradually starting to reform himself, with the help of other evil magical mutts,  however the meddling Hairy Potter and his mates stopped Volde-Mutt from  becoming fully reformed and re animated on earth many times.

BUT  He who cannot be named  waits for his chance to return and wreck havoc on the world,  and on that return he will have to destroy Hairy Potter before Hairy can destroy HIM.

ONE VERY BOSSY WITCH

HAIR-MOANIE  GRANGER is also a Student at Dog-Warts.. She is best friends with Run & Hairy .

Unlike HAIRY POTTER or RUN WEASLEY, Hair-Moanie was not born from magical  mutts parents.. However, this does not stop her from trying to become the best Witchie Bitch in the school.

Here we see Hair-Moanie  casting spells whilst making potions and using her crystal ball......... Magical Multi-tasking.

Too clever by far, which can be annoying to some,   BUT  her knowledge of all things to do with Mutt Magic is equal to some of the oldest and wisest mage , warlock or wizard.
